It’s Culture Night in Sligo

The 8th annual Culture Night Sligo takes place tonight Friday 22nd September. Arts organisations will open their doors until late with free events, workshops and performances. 29 free events in 23 venues across Sligo showcase the best of what the county has to offer, with something for everyone. With typical enthusiasm, Sligo Food Trail members are getting involved too.

Make your mother feel marvellous – on Sligo Food Trail

Say thank you to your mother. Mothers do a lot for their children, but when people reminisce about their childhood, it’s amazing how often their “mammy’s cooking” crops up. With a few honourable exceptions, our mothers are pretty much responsible for feeding us through babyhood, childhood and often well beyond. It makes a lot of sense to treat your Mum this Sunday on Mothers’ Day.
