Do you know The Jampot Café in Grange on the Wild Atlantic Way? If not, this video will give you the introduction you need. It’s the latest in Sligo Food Trail’s Café Culture video series and we know you’re going to love it!
Orlaith Conefrey has created a real gem of a café – a bright, warm, welcoming spot with home baking, cracking coffee and an imaginative and enticing menu. Some of the most popular items are her own treasured family recipes – her granny’s boxty and her mother’s brown bread and scones. Sometimes all that’s wanted is a perfect presentation of an old favourite.
Everything at The Jampot is home baked with the very best of ingredients. The cakes are a particular customer favourite and look just beautiful. No wonder they are in demand for occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and weddings.
Breakfast is a feast in this comfy café with the Avocado Toast and French Toast in particular, flying out of the kitchen. Afternoon teas are a popular recent addition. They run from 12-3pm and booking is essential. The newest venture is the Supper Club, which launched for Valentine’s Weekend and judging by its success, there will be a lot more where that came from.
The Jampot is open six days a week (closed Mondays) and they happily cater for all dietary needs – coeliac, dairy free, vegan. Orlaith and her team also make and sell their own jams and chutneys.
